Desert Opera Theatre's regular season has three popular musicals like Oklahoma, Beauty and the Beast, and Fiddler on the Roof. From time to time we will add a bonus show to "test the waters" with new or little-known shows of exceptional interest. We are trying to see if the Antelope Valley can support the hidden gems of musical theater in addition to the classic Broadway favorites. We call it the "In-Ovation" series.

"In-Ovation" will experiment with dinner theater and different locations. We expect add one show a year, in May, which will be in addition to our regular season of three shows at the Palmdale Playhouse.

The bonus "In-Ovation" show for 2006 is Glama. This is a brand new musical comedy loaded with laughs and original songs. It is written in the style of the Broadway classics and suitable for all audiences. There are two ways to enjoy this show:

• at a gala dinner theater premiere on Thursday, May 25, or
• at bargain evening performances on Friday, May 26 or Saturday, May 27
