A sweet-talking con man dances into River City, Iowa to sell the skeptical inhabitants on the idea of a boy's marching band. The local librarian and music teacher sees through him until she falls in love. But our traveling salesman gets his foot caught in the door when he falls for her. Classic songs like "Seventy Six Trombones" make this one of the best-loved musicals ever.
